GUIDLINES FOR PRESENTATION

Abstracts based on Original Research and Review, are invited for Poster and Oral presentations.

Eligibility criteria: Students (Perusing/Completed, Graduate/Post, Graduate/Doctorate/Post doctorate Degree in Science and/or Technology), Academicians, Scientists, Researchers and Industrial researchers, are eligible to participate.
The Author should mention his/her preference for the mode of presentation (Poster/Oral) under following themes:

Abstract can be submitted under following themes
• Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Cancer biology, Zoology and Botany
• Bioinformatics, Chemo-informatics, Computational Biology and Structural Biology
• Drug design, discovery and development, Drug Delivery, Natural products, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Toxicology, Biomedical Sciences.
• Food technology/biotechnology and Agricultural Science.
• Nanotechnology
• Environmental Sciences

KEY POINTS AND MAJOR ATTRACTIONS
(Publications, Best Poster/Oral Presentation Awards and Best Paper Awards/Cash prizes)

• Selected abstracts will be published in International journal “INDO GLOBAL JOURNAL OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES” (http://www.iglobaljournal.com/) which is Indexed in more than 60 spaces (including; Elsevier, CAS, EMBASE, Scirus, Science Central, Google Scholar and more
(http://www.iglobaljournal.com/indexed/).
• Among the selected abstracts, authors of best 50 abstracts will be invited to submit full length manuscript, out of which top 20 manuscripts will be published in the same journal, after peer review. • Format for full length manuscript can be downloaded at the journal’s site: http://www.iglobaljournal.com/guidelines-for-authors/.
• 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded to the presenting author in poster presentation under all the themes.
• Young Scientist Award, 1st runner up and 2nd runner up prizes will be awarded in oral presentation under all the themes.
• 1st , 2nd and 3rd cash prizes will also be awarded to the best papers selected in overall participation (Sponsored by: Indoglobal Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Organizing committee IC LIFE 2014)

Note: Copyright of all the accepted abstracts & best papers will automatically be transferred to Indo Global Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Organizing committee of IC LIFE 2014. Necessary modifications in the abstracts will be made to make it best fit for the journal

GENERAL GUIDELINES

•Abstracts for oral and poster presentation, should be submitted by sending Email on: participant.iclife@gmail.com, by 30th May 2014.
• The length of abstract should not exceed 250 words and should not include graphs and images.
• At least one of the authors for each presentation should register for the Conference.
• On acceptance of abstracts, author(s) of the accepted abstracts would be intimated before the registration dead line.
• Best selected abstracts will be called to submit full manuscript declaring “The abstract submitted under the title “--------” is original and has not been submitted/published, elsewhere.

Note: Abstract received without the registration form and receipt of the fee submission and declaration(above) will not be included in the Conference Scientific Programme.

FORMAT FOR THE ABSTRACT

Title: 12-point Times New Roman, boldface type, centered relative to the column, first letter of Each Word of the Title Should be Capital. The Title length should not exceed 50 characters spaces.

Authors’ Name: Below the title, name of each author should be mentioned, underlining the name of the presenting author and an asterisk* placed after the name of the corresponding author

Author’s Affiliation: Names of the authors should be followed by their affiliations (initially italicized) with 11 point, Times New Roman, centered relative to the column.
Affiliations should be the address(es) of the institution(s) where the research/review work has been performed.
A footnote including the complete mailing address, a single telephone number, and a single fax number, e-mail address for the presenting and corresponding author should be included.

Key words: A List of key words (3–6) proposed by the authors, separated by semicolons, should be provided which should not include words already used in the title.

Note: Abstract not sent in proper format might be REJECTED.

FORMATS for Oral/Poster presentation:
Oral/Poster presentation should be made under following headings
1. Introduction
2. Aims and Objective
3. Materials and Method
4. Result
5. Discussion
6. Conclusion
7. References/Acknowledgement

For Oral presentation
Number of slides should not exceed more than 15 and should be arrange under the headings as mentioned above.

For Poster presentation
• The dimensions of the poster board 4ftX3ft (LXW).
• Preferred font size for Title - 72+, Sub-titles- 54+, Text- 30+, Sub-Text- 20+. • Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract.
• The main body of the poster should include- Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.­
1. The text and illustrations should be bold enough to be read from a distance of two meters (six feet).
2. The Introduction should contain 3 to 5 sentences outlining information necessary to understand the study and why it was done.
3. The objectives or aims of the study, the questions to be asked, or the hypothesis to be tested should be clearly stated in as few words as possible.
4. Outline your methods briefly. Provide details only for new methods or important modifications of older ones.
5. Results should be presented as graphs or charts. Provide a key to explain symbols or other details. You may also want to provide an interpretation of the results below each panel.
6. The conclusions and acknowledgements should be concise.

• The printed Poster hard copies should be taken to the conference by the delegates, and will be posted to the poster area in the designated position according to the “registration Number”.
• Tacks and technical equipment will be available for the hanging of posters.
• Authors who are presenting the poster are required to stand by their poster during each poster session.
• Please remove your poster after the assigned date and time. The Organizing Committee will not be responsible for posters that are not removed on time.
